Since speaking to owner Jonathan Willis earlier this year, Farm Fresh Fast has been blinking on my radar as a must-try culinary adventure spot.
Well, folks, I can tell you I landed safely today at 860 S Church Street in Greenville with a gnarly appetite. Chef Erik Moore did not disappoint. More, the food had today left us very full - but not fully bloated.
As we took in the ambiance of the restaurant, Moore explained the food and what ingredients are used to create the dishes. And, as their name implies, the ingredients sourced are the freshest possible - meaning it's got to be local.
They source a lot of their product from purveyors here in South Carolina. That means they support the farmers of our state by purchasing direct and having it delivered straight to them, no middle man.
The food prepared for us today lived up to the hype. It was all very flavorful and unique. The Bison Burger and Thai Pork Wrap were my favorites today. I loved the flavor profiles of all the combined ingredients. The burger was cooked superbly. The wrap - with its crispy pork and in-house made Thai chili - was the early 4th of July fireworks my palate was looking for!
The showstopper of the day, however, was the Beef Bulgogi Bowl. I have been a big fan of bulgogi, that's for sure. But, when paired with soba noodles, this dish went into overdrive when it met my taste buds. Super flavors await you with this one, folks.
Although you might not be craving this dish in the Summer, the Bison Bolognese is a hearty plate of goodness for your mouth. Amazing flavors with each bite.
And for you vegans out there, they have a "no-kill" menu. We tried the Greek Pita Wrap and it was awesome. The vegan tzatziki sauce really sends this over the moon.
We had a great time here at Triple F! Looking forward to them opening their Simpsonville, S.C., location. They are anticipating August 2022 for their doors to swing open.
