El Panal Bee Café serves excellent Ecuadorian cuisine with bold flavors

There's some bold flavors coming out the spot that used to be a popular donut shop on Fairview Road in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

El Panal Bee Café opened about a month ago and has seen a steady trickle of people in for their food, but the newness prevails as this soon-to-be popular eatery is still a secret amongst local foodies.

The best Ecuadorian food in one place.
La mejor comida ecuatoriana en un solo lugar.

Truth be told, it's authentic and unique to the area. Some people might see the name and not know what's served here. You can take my word, friends. The food here is tongue pleasing.

Everything is made fresh to order, meaning there's nothing you see waiting under a heat lamp to be plucked for your plate. From the Bolón de queso y chicharrón to the Moro con Chuleta, the flavors are mouth-pounding awesome.

The rice and beans are very good, very comfort-food authentic. The bowl I had was hot, tastes were splendid.

I had a great conversation with chef and owner George about the food, the idea of a restaurant and the passion to serve people his culinary creations.
