There's a pizzeria on Woodruff Road in Greenville, South Carolina, that has that authentic pizza dough smell, the NJ/NY attitude and a nod from actor Anthony Michael Hall who says this is the best pizza in Greenville. No, really, there's an autographed photo on the wall!
That pizzeria is Bada Bing Pizzeria and it's located at 1860 Woodruff Rd Suite #G.
We stopped in and saw a family ahead of us ordering what seemed to be a feast! So, after we ordered, we sat and watched them... then watched the food roll out of the kitchen.
You can talk all day long about what's true NY pizza. This, my friends, is the real deal. I introduced myself to the family and asked to take a picture.

OK, we ordered the Disco Fries and a 24" pepperoni pie. You all, it's all legit. The pizza was huge! The slices were huge! And, each slice passed the fold test, what I consider to be the true indicator of what NY pizza is all about.
