It's been a Long Time Off: LTO Burger & Bites reopens with flavorful punch!

It has been a long time off, friends. Known then as LTO Burger Bar, the eatery closed in 2021 due to Covid and took time to renovate.

What came out of that renovation on September 9, 2022, was a new name, awesome decor, revised focus on great service and top-quality grub, all in a family atmosphere.

The murals on the walls are truly works of art. You can see a few in the restrooms.

They also encourage you to play board games at the table, making it a legit family experience to create lasting memories.

Speaking of memories, let's look at my #gotoyournomnomplace experience from September 8, 2022, which was Media Night for the eatery.

Every bite of food was a legit flavor punch to the taste buds. The burgers were cooked to order. We ordered a couple medium well, one medium rare and another medium. All came out exactly as they were asked for. Chef Jimmy and his staff were on point for sure with the dishes!

Hot Buttered Bites - pretzel bites served with smoked gouda queso and whole grain mustard

Flyin' High Wings - dry rub (with a sweet sensation) and buffalo

Let's talk about a couple of the appetizers we had. First, the Hot Buttered Bites.

You can order 5 wings or 10 wings and you can mix it up. We ordered five of the dry rub, which has a sweet taste to them, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. I loved that! Very different. The other five were buffalo style. Legit lip smackers!

Corleone - marinara, mozzarella, pepperoni, meatball, onion, pepper, mushroom

Buffa-Low Rider - ricotta sauce, blue cheese, mozzarella, grilled chicken, red onion (left off this one), buffalo hot sauce

The flatbreads - or flats - were amazing. Loved the crust on the two we had. All ingredients were fresh. You had to force yourself to stop eating these. Each bite led you to another glorious bite. Cheesy goodness, that's fur sure!

My First Rodeo - 6 oz Prime patty blackened, swiss, horsey sauce, mushrooms, sautéed onion

The LTO - 6 oz Prime patty, american cheese, 1k sauce, our namesake Lettuce, Tomato, Onion

Now, the stars of the show... The burgers! We had a few, but the ones you need to hit first are the My First Rodeo and The LTO.

Described above, they are absolute mouth pleasers. the sautéed onions on the My First Rodeo were cooked to perfection, making the flavors explosive! The mushrooms were cooked well, too. The burger, cooked to ordered temp, was on the spot and the flavors were outstanding. Season well!

Same for The LTO, the staple burger. It's the one you know will satisfy any appetite.

Da-Vito - House made meatballs, marinara sauce, provolone, mozzarella, parmesan

The grinder of choice for the night was the Da-Vito. We got their famous tots with these. As the video says, you can get bad tots in life. These were not bad tots. The grinder was packed full of ingredients and made each bite a challenge, but a tasty one! Loved the meatballs and cheeses!

We had the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dip for dessert. It's house-made chocolate chip cookie dough dip served with graham cracker and pretzel bites. Who would of thought the pretzel bites would pair well with chocolate cookie dough dip? LTO Burger & Bites did! It was a great great way to finish off dinner.

We had a great mule and sangria for drinks. The bar is on the opposite side of the dining area and has booths to sit at. You can order food from there as well.

Before leaving, I told the kitchen staff they did a marvelous job and wished them well into the weekend. I made sure they all knew they were awesome and true culinary stars!

Also got to grab a photo with Aidan Sokol, the general manager, and Heidi Mills of Southern Culture Hospitality Group. These folks are awesome!

Make plans to #gotoyournomnomplace and be #culinaryencourager! Leave negativity in the trash can, folks. Support the culinary industry with positivity through encouragement!
