Divine dining exists in Simpsonville, S.C.
Let's talk about a recent visit to Stella's Southern Bistro in Discover Simpsonville. First, did you all know marvelous dining existed in the area?
Well, it does. And to be honest, this trip was to die for.
The atmosphere is set to create the perfect mood for a dinner sitting. The staff are well attentive. The chefs and cook staff know their timing and execute dishes to tables perfectly.
The flavors in each bite take you deeper and deeper into a culinary whirlwind. It's a tasting trip you don't want to end.
The cup of Rabbit & Dumplins' was the first culinary creation to hit my mouth. To tell you it was magnifient would be fine, but each bite created a desire to take another... and another... until the cup was empty.
As we waited eagerly, but patiently, the entrees began to arrive.
Just so you know, the owners here do their very best to source ingedients and proteins locally. So, when you see their menu you might recognize the farms' names.
For example, the Caroland Farms Wagyu Beef Burger is a prime example of what this restaurant wants to serve people. Fresh Wagyu beef carefully prepared with distinctive ingredients that result in powerful flavor punches to the tongue. This burger was cooked mid well and delicious.
Next was the pork chop. The plating alone is enough to go back into the kitchen and give the chef a pat on the back. But, the combinations on this dish really made my taste buds sing. I loved every bite. It's a dish I would be sad to see come off the menu.
The New York Strip was cooked rare and came out as tender as you'd expect a rare steak to be. The grilling was perfect, temp was spot on. The flavors, again, were mouthwatering. Loved the red wine mushroom reduction.
Dessert? Felt like I had dessert all night.
Couldn't leave without tasting the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. The photo says enough.
Plan to #gotoyournomnomplace soon and be a #culinaryencourager as you're treated to a great dining experience!
