Warehouse at Vaughn's is one reason people say #yeahThatSVL

It's the weekend. You're ready to wind down, have some fun and spend time with family and friends at a place where it's hip, legit and serves great drinks and awesome food.

And, most times, you're getting in the car, driving for about 30-40 minutes out of town to find such a location.

In Simpsonville, South Carolina, folks have a valid reason to stay in town. What is that reason, you ask?

It's Warehouse at Vaughn's, silly!

The community venue celebrated its one-year anniversary in November 2021, with people excited to see what the future holds.

So, let's take a virtual trip to 109 W Trade Street and talk about what this place actually is!

It features quite a bit of vendors in one location, providing indoor/outdoor dining. It also has a container courtyard and live music, which is super popular in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

You can visit their website by clicking here to see the vendors, follow them on their social media accounts. Hours of operation is also located on their website.

There's two eateries, specifically, that you should try when coming out.

First, is Anchor Raw Bar. Their website showcases the fantastic menus and hours of operation, but it's best to show you in pictures.

Fresh oysters, flavorful seafood and other great choices await you here. The crab cakes are a legit hit. And those scallops above were divine.

Chef Tye Cantrell is at helm, making sure the dishes come out to perfection and result in satisfied taste buds!

And Cantrell knows his stuff, he's a well-known culinary genius in the Upstate and has been on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen.

Second, also cheffed up by Cantrell, is The Pineapple Express.

This new addition to the venue is move from a pop-up Hawaiian barbecue experience to a permanent fixture at a cool location. Cantrell's dream and passion has turned into reality, featuring some great dishes with unique flavors.

The Kalua Pork with rice and mac was stupid good. But, what had me saying get-out-of-here was the Spam and Kimchi Sandwich. Yes, it had Spam on it. It was a great combination and the kimchi was perfect. You couldn't ask for something better. Simplistic, but packed a big flavorful punch.

If craft beer and wine is your thing, The Tap House is your drinks destination. They feature 26 taps that's always fresh and constantly changing. Oh, and they always have mimosas. To see the current list of offerings, visit their website by clicking here.

With these mentioned above, and mainstays like Bourbon St. Burgers, recent move-ins such as Humble Pie Pizza Co. and variety additions like Trade St. Market adding Crazy Cow Creamery's soft serve, Warehouse at Vaughn's is more than enough to keep people in town to enjoy the moments sought out for on the weekends.

And, to be honest, those moments can be enjoyed everyday they're open.
